About & help
Independent tool, not Primera software. It can read FreddieView's log and edit its settings file on this PC, but it never talks to Freddie. Close FreddieView before saving settings , then reopen it to load them. Disconnect power before maintenance or changing parts; keep safety guards in place.

Load FreddieView's files
FreddieView keeps its files in the hidden folder C:\ProgramData\PTI\FreddieVision. Click Choose and that file's full path is copied for you. In the Open window, click the File name box, paste with Ctrl +V and press Enter .

Copy the edited file into place
Browsers aren't allowed to write inside C:\ProgramData, so the updated visionsettingsWorkingCopy.json was downloaded. With FreddieView closed, run this in PowerShell. It first backs up the current file to CalibratorBackups, then copies the download into place:
Copy command Done
If the download was renamed (for example visionsettingsWorkingCopy (1).json), adjust the last path or delete older copies first. Reopen FreddieView afterwards.
About & manual guide
Version 2.1 · Independent companion, not Primera software. No connection to Freddie, no automatic dispensing and no cloud storage. FreddieView on Windows remains the machine controller.
What's new in 2.0
Reads FreddieView's log (C:\ProgramData\PTI\FreddieVision\FreddieVision.log): calibration readings, setting changes, cookies iced, icing used, and machine or camera faults, per day.
Edits FreddieView's settings (Persistence\visionsettingsWorkingCopy.json): flood and outline pressure, relative icing amount and distance from edge. Only those numbers change; the rest of the file stays byte-for-byte identical. Saving downloads the updated file with a one-line PowerShell command that first backs up the current file to FreddieVision\CalibratorBackups, then puts the new one in place. Download previous version gives you the file as it was before your last save.
Pressure steps from your own readings. FreddieView reports "too thin" when the reading is above its pass window (default 0.19–0.29) and tells you to decrease pressure, and "too thick" below it. The companion brackets the pressure between the highest that read too thick and the lowest that read too thin, and suggests the midpoint.
Reliability check. If readings contradict each other (for example, too thick at a higher pressure than one that read too thin, or readings over 1"), more calibration won't converge. It then recommends trial & error.
Trial & error mode skips calibration and changes one setting per cookie based on what you see. FreddieView lets you start a job without a passing calibration. Note that it still logs a "Flood Width … @Pressure …" from the last calibration at each job and may use it to plan flood spacing. If spiral spacing looks wrong, run one calibration, accept the result and continue.
Run records are saved in this browser for this page's address. Export a JSON backup regularly; import it to restore or transfer sessions.

User's Manual, edition 1.1, 012826: §3 p.28 — spatula settle test, 15–20 seconds; p.30 — dry tube/plunger; p.31 — prime after more than 3 hours idle.
§4B1 p.38 — thin: outline 30–40, flood 40–70; thick: outline 40–70, flood 70–100. Advanced settings only when directed by technical support.
§4B4 p.43 — calibrate each new batch; calibration cookie at least 2 inches wide; very thick icing may not be compensable.
§4C pp.44–45 and §6B p.72 — test one cookie, start edge 0.10 in (about 2.5 mm), amount 100%; adjust amount for more or less icing.
§4D p.46 — smaller nozzle for thinner icing. Available sizes: 1.2, 1.4, 1.6 mm.
§5 pp.47–50 — disconnect power before maintenance; clean and fully dry valve/block/nozzle; check clear nozzle.
§4A p.36, §6A7 pp.69–70, §6C pp.76–77 — calibration failures may be camera/light related; inspect exposure and cookie preview.
§6A9 p.71 — per-cookie records in C:\ProgramData\PTI\FreddieVision\Persistence\FrostingTrials.
§7B p.80 — missing icing throughout: increase relative amount by 5%; missing spirals: icing may be too dry/thick and need a new batch.
Quick Start 511510-061225: pp.14–15 (dryness/priming), p.17 (lighting), p.22 (pressure ranges), p.25 (edge/amount), p.27 (dry block/valve).
The bracketing midpoint, ±5 pressure / ±5 % amount / +0.02 in edge steps, the reliability rules and one-variable-at-a-time sequencing are companion heuristics, not manufacturer prescriptions. Save limits (pressure 10–100, amount 30–200 %, edge 0–0.5 in) are guardrails, not approved operating limits.
Do not bypass interlocks. Disconnect power before nozzle changes or maintenance. Editing FreddieView's files is unsupported by Primera: keep the backups, and use Download previous version or FreddieView's Restore Defaults if anything looks wrong. Never use this app to assess food safety.
